Back again...

Theese past couple of weeks I have been trying to put some of my thoughts on paper, but halfway through it, I get tired of writing. Basically, I've been wasting a lot of paper. Theres a whole lot I need to say, but I can't really find the words.

An update from the last entry though...

We did get the electric turned on. After a couple of days fighting with Met-Ed, they finally came out. I had a really hard time adjusting to the house after we started living there full-time though. A couple nights all I wanted to do was to go back home to my parents house. I just couldn't get comfortable. It went on for a couple of months. These days, I'm just taking it one day at a time. I'm finally ok to stay home alone for long periods of time. Thats an improvement! Unfortunately, I won't have time to completely get used to it. Our landlord informed us that she is going to put the house on the market by Christmas. She's going to honor the lease until the end of March (which is good). What does all this mean though? It means that I have 5 months to find a new place to live. I'm really bummed out because I was finally ready to decorate. Life handed me a whole lot of lemons and I don't feel like making lemonade this time!!!

Other than that, my summer was good. Lots of swimming, and I had a whole week off. My employers and their children went to the shore for the week, so they didn't need me. It was much needed time off. I only went to the beach once, but I had a good time. I also got to see Mariah Carey in Philadelphia @ the Wachovia center this summer. I felt like I had been waiting my whole life for the moment when I'd see her in concert. It was amazing. She was fantastic. Loved it. Love her!!

Parker started kindergarten in September, so it's just been Mason and me in the mornings. Work hasn't been so rough. Its great that I get to leave to go get Parker from school. Breaks up the day a little bit.

Went to see the Rascal Flatts last Friday. It's amazing how crazy country music fans are! They can party just as hard as all the others. I really enjoyed myself & C even said they weren't "that bad." HaHa. They put on a fantastic show.

My bestest, Amy found out she is having a little girl in February. I'm so excited to be an "Aunt" again. Can't wait to spoil her! And I am super excited about shopping for a girl again! It's been all about the boys for some time now.

I hope everyone enjoys their Halloween, and just in case I don't make it back here for awhile... Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.

As much as I would like to talk about how much I love my new house, I can't. The house has been without electricity since Friday, which makes the house completely uninhabitable. I am more than upset with Met-Ed at the moment. They were supposed to turn on the electricity yesterday. C and I assumed that when we both got home from work, the electric would be on. Apparently, the woman whom we spoke with on Friday is incapable of doing her job. So we called, and they promised that someone would be out by the evening. 4 hours go by and it's 9. Still no electric. Fuck. So what did we do? Called again. This time we are told that because of the high winds, there are power lines down and that they need all of their service people to go fix them. Therefore, no one would be able to come out for another 6 hours. Another fucking 6 hours! If they don't turn it on today, someone in customer service is getting kicked in the face.

Sorry the updates have been far and few between. It seems as though my life has been work, home, eat, sleep. Well, I lied. Wednesday nights its work, home, eat, volleyball, then sleep. What an exciting life I lead.

I have big news to report though! Right this very second, I am in the process of moving out of my parents house. Yeessss! Very happy about that. C and I started looking about a month ago, but everything was either downtown or on south side. I really just wanted to stay close to my mom and dad. After looking through the paper a million times, we found a house right up the street from my parents. Perfect right? We went to see it, but the asking price was too much. After that, I thought the situation was hopeless. So we went back to looking through the papers. We ended up finding an ad for half a double in Wilson (Still close to the rents). We called and made an appointment to see the house. When we pulled up, 3 other families were already there. We both looked at each other and figured we didn't have a chance especially because there were people with kids that probably needed a home more than us. But to make a long story short, we toured the house, loved it, and they ended up picking us. We signed the lease Friday, and started moving in on Saturday. Actually, I had to work, but C's family ended up helping out a lot. Now we're just working on picking up the rest of my shit from my parents house.

Life is good (for now).

Happy New Year!

Anyone make any interesting resolutions? Usually I just promise myself that I won't throw up. I kind of blew my cookies last weekend though... so much for that.

ANYWAYS...

Christmas was good. Same as always (How boring!) I ended up getting some cool things though. My Dad got me Sirius Satellite Radio for my car, and C got me an iPod. Satellite radio is very cool by the way.

I turned the big 2-1 the day after Christmas. Had a decent time. Went out with the for dinner with friends from the Y, and then went out to a bar in Nazareth. Apparently I had a bit too much to drink. And it's not because I had a lot... it's because I just wasn't meant to drink anything alcoholic... period. I'm not proud of it, but it looks like I'm nothing but a cheap date. HaHa.

Work is going well. I started the new year with a raise. I'm definitely looking forward to saving money this year. If I do anything big this year... it'll be moving out of my parents house. Or fixing the bumper on my car. Ha.

I ended up not signing up for classes and doing the whole school thing. I don't want to go to school. I really don't. I think I've given up for now. Maybe next fall.

Other than that, I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays.

Quick update before I go to work...

I've been shopping like crazy this past month & I'm still not done! So tomorrow morning I have to get a move on it. Work has been good. Not too bad. So yay for that. Still don't know what's going on with school. I don't know whether or not I have the drive to go anymore. But we'll see. Last night I had a major breakdown & cried for most of the night. Sometimes I just feel like everything is spinning out of control. Whether it's about money, living here with my parents... Ugh. I'm just tired and ready to run far far away.

I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas! :)

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!
